PSR
Growing in Faith. Building Disciples. Walking with Families.
Who is PSR for?
The Parish School of Religion (PSR) program is for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade who are seeking to grow in their Catholic faith outside of a Catholic school setting.
PSR is a wonderful opportunity for children who attend public school, are homeschooled, or are looking for additional faith formation to deepen their relationship with Jesus and learn more about the Catholic Church.
Our program welcomes children at every stage of their faith journey—from those who are just beginning to learn about God’s love to those preparing to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.
No matter where your child is in their journey, we are excited to walk with your family and help your child grow in faith, prayer, and a lifelong relationship with Christ.

About Our PSR Program
At Holy Family, our Parish School of Religion is more than a weekly class—it is an opportunity for children to encounter Jesus, grow in their Catholic faith, and become active disciples.
We believe parents are the first and most important teachers of their children’s faith. Our PSR program partners with families by providing a welcoming environment where children can learn about God’s love, grow in prayer, and develop a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church.
Through engaging lessons, prayer, Scripture, and activities, students will:
- Discover God’s Word through Sacred Scripture, especially by exploring the upcoming Sunday Gospel and learning how God speaks to them in their daily lives
- Grow in their Catholic faith by learning the teachings, traditions, and beliefs of the Church in a way that is meaningful and age-appropriate
- Strengthen their relationship with Jesus through prayer, reflection, classroom activities, and celebrations connected to the liturgical year
- Prepare for the Sacraments as they journey toward important milestones such as First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation
Whether your child is beginning their faith journey in Kindergarten or preparing for a sacrament, we are blessed to walk alongside your family as we help our children know, love, and serve God more deeply.
