Culture of Life

Holy Family's Culture of Life group is dedicated to the truth that ALL human life, from conception until natural death is a sacred gift from God. This group will – by prayer, education, and witness – bring all to an active commitment in building a Culture of Life within our families, parishes, communities, and country.



"I call heaven and earth today to witness against you: I have set you before life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live, by loving the Lord, your God, heeding his voice, and holding fast to him. For that will mean life for you, a long life for you to live on the land which the Lord swore he would give to your fathers Abraham, Issac and Jacob." - Deuteronomy 30:19-2 


Membership


OUR PLEDGE: I thank GOD today for the gift of my life and for the lives of my brothers and sisters. I know I am responsible for the unborn who cannot speak for themselves. I know that the most serious tragedy of our day is the tragedy of abortion. Today I commit myself never to be silent never to be passive never to be forgetful of the unborn. I commit myself to be active in the Pro-Life movement and never to stop defending life until all my brothers and sisters are protected and our nation once again becomes a nation with liberty and justice not just for some, but for all. Amen.


Join Us -- Membership in the Holy Family Culture of Life is free and open to all parishioners and other community members who seek to build a Culture of Life. Meetings take place the fourth Monday of every month in room 3 of the lower church hall at Holy Family Church in Stow. From 7-7:30pm all are invited to pray a rosary with pro-life meditations. Immediately following, the group addresses business. Join our e-mail distribution --Holy Family's Culture of Life maintains an active e-mail database to disseminate information on our work. Individuals who join will receive updates on pro-life events in the area, ongoing progress reports on group activities, and even notification of pending legislation at the federal/state level. Your participation is confidential, and your information is not shared. E-mails sent out to the group are "blind copied" to protect your privacy. To join, contact holyfamilyprolife@hotmail.com and include your full name, mailing address, and phone number. The Culture of Life periodically sends traditional mailings, and would love to include you on our list.
