Thursday, May 15

Dear Parishioners, Staff, and Friends of Holy Family Parish:

Any Holy Family parishioner, neighbor, or friend is welcome to come and to help us clean up the church and school grounds. Monday’s storm did a lot of damage to our buildings. Contractors are on hand cleaning up the buildings but there is a lot of storm debris still on the grounds which we will tackle.

Those who can help are encouraged to come today (Thursday 5/15) from 6PM - 8PM. Mr. E.J. Vale will be the point person coordinating things so please see him when you arrive and he'll tell you what needs to be done. Point people and supplies will be near the bell tower entrance along the roadway between the Church & School, so when you arrive head there.

A few notes:

  • Please wear boots, work clothes, and gloves. We have some latex gloves available but heavy work gloves are needed as well.
  • Please bring a rake, push broom, and/or flat head shovel. A few more trash bags would be helpful too.
  • DO NOT go inside the lower church hall or school.
  • DO NOT go onto the playground behind the back parking lot.
  • Those helping out can use the drinking fountain and restrooms in the Bell Tower entrance.
  • Be sure to keep out of the way of any workmen that are working in the lower church hall, rectory, and/or school.
  • Please park in the front lot along Rt. 59 as close to Wetmore Park as possible.

If you have questions, feel free to text, call or email me. (330) 842-1524 / john@cafeoplay.com / Deacon John Green
