Knights of Columbus
Serving the parishes of Holy Family, Mother of Sorrows, and Saint Mary
Welcome
We are a band of brothers, a network of men dedicated to doing good in the service of God and our neighbor, guided by our four core principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. We are men of faith and men of action. We are the Knights of Columbus.
The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization, with over 2 million members worldwide. One of the most active charitable organizations in the United States, the Knights donated more than $154 million and 48 million hours of service in 2021 alone, continuing an unbroken tradition that spans more than 130 years.
The Fr. Maruskin Council #10936, serving the parishes of Holy Family, Mother of Sorrows, and Saint Mary, was formed in 1992 with 35 members and has grown to 160 members strong. Our mission is to provide service to the Church, the community, our council, families, youth, and the culture of life, all under the guiding principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.

Knights of Columbus Change Fundraiser for Akron Pregnancy Services
Knights of Columbus Council #10936 Supports Akron Pregnancy Services
The Knights of Columbus Council #10936 would like to thank everyone who supported this year’s fundraising effort for Akron Pregnancy Services.
As of Monday, May 18, our council’s three two-man teams raised a combined total of $7,615 in pledges to support women and families in need throughout our community. This accounted for more than 10% of the event’s overall fundraising total of $71,000!
Our teams finished with the following results:
• Team Charity — Bob Eikenburg & Neil Durbin: $3,020 raised (2nd Place Overall)
• Team Unity — White & Rynd: $2,315 raised (5th Place Overall)
• Team Fraternity — Crock & Chiurizzi: $2,270 raised (6th Place Overall)
We offer a special congratulations to Team Charity for their outstanding Walk Day pledge effort, earning second place overall among all participating teams.
Most importantly, we extend our sincere gratitude to the 68 Knights, family members, and friends whose generous donations made this success possible. Your support directly assists Akron Pregnancy Services in their mission to provide compassionate care and life-affirming support to women and families in our area.
Thank you for your generosity and continued support.
Vivat Jesus!
