PSR: Parish School of Religion

Holy Family’s Parish School of Religion (PSR) is designed for public school children in grades K-8. All first and second grade students in public school attend PSR to prepare for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Third through eighth graders continue to learn about our Catholic faith in preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation received in high school.  Sunday School Program

The Sunday School Program meets in the school during the 9:30am Sunday Mass from September through May. This program gives 3 year olds, 4 year olds and kindergarteners an opportunity to learn about God’s love and how to share his love with others. This program supports home learning in the early stages of Christian formation. Registration is required.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a religious formation program for children ages 3-4 which incorporates Maria Montessori's principles of education.  This program utilizes a "hands on" approach to nurture the spiritual development of young children.  In this format, children not only learn, but experience their faith.  

 

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School provides an experience of Jesus’ love and Christian community for children kindergarten to sixth grade during one week in mid-June. The program consists of Bible teachings, prayer experiences, crafts and song.  Registration takes place in May and early June, with forms available online.
